Your Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.
  • If you are 18 years old or older you are eligible to get a library card. Under 18? We can include you on your family's card.
  • To apply: Stop in during our open hours and talk to the librarian. Please bring a piece of mail to show us your current address. Our library cards do expire. We will need you to verify your information every year to keep us up to date on how to contact you. It is your responsibility to bring your card with you every time you come to the library.
  • How to use your library card:
    • Present your card at check-out.
    • You can borrow books and audio books for 3 weeks and movies for 1 week. Renewals are allowed, except on new releases.
    • If you can't find an item that you want, let us know. We can borrow books/audio/movies from other libraries.
    • When returning items, you can drop them off at our drop box, located outside the front door, or bring them inside if we are open.
    • Need to renew a book? Give us a call or stop by to let us know.
    • Have a late book or movie? The library will charge $.20/day for a book that is overdue and $1.00/day for a movie that is overdue.
    • If you can't make it in to see if we have an item, give us a call and we can look for you.
